[Rags submits happily to that kiss, reaching up to thread his fingers through Adrian's hair. He slides into his lap, mostly to make the angle less awkward, but also so he can get another arm around him.]

[Adrian exhales a little noisily, checks himself for any current impulse to bolt--low right now, he's good--and moves a hand to his hair, combing his fingers through roughly as he pushes a bit deeper.]

[Fortunately, Rags did bathe and brush his hair for this occasion, so those fingers slide through with hardly any snags.

Rags doesn't push for anything more than this. He's always mindful of what he told Adrian he'd do - let him lead - and so simply matches his pace, toying with his hair.

He does give it a bit of a playful tug, though. Because he can.]

[Adrian nuzzles into his neck and huffs a little laugh.]

[He straightens with mock indignation. And transitions seamlessly to standing with Rags in full-on princess carry.]

[He yelps and curses, wrapping an arm around his neck, but otherwise submitting to the carry with a laugh.]

What do you have planned that could possibly be better than breaking into fake houses and getting fake future technology?

[Rags looks entirely too smug as he says it, though he tries to shove it under innocent ignorance.]
